Health visitors are nurses or midwives who specialise in the health and development of pre-school children. Health Visitors offer clinics and support through our Family Centres across Hertfordshire. They offer confidential health advice and support to Hertfordshire residents, from pregnancy right through to your little one turning 5 years old.

Legal and going to Court Support. If you are in a WHWR Refuge or registered in the Outreach programme we will advocate for you as a “Mckenzie Friend”  What is a McKenzie friend? When someone is involved in a legal case and they do not have a solicitor or barrister, they are entitled to have assistance from someone who is not a solicitor or barrister at court. This is called a McKenzie friend. McKenzie friends do not have to be legally qualified in any way.
